With so many deserving players and only so many spots, the YAIAA football coaches picked the three divisions worth of all-stars on Sunday afternoon.
In a rare occurrence, the Division I Player of the Year honor turned into a three-way tie for the league's top award.
William Penn's Jordan Davis and Malik Generett, along with Central York's D.J. Harrison, were named the division's players of the year.
Davis, the senior Bearcat quarterback, threw for 25 touchdowns against just four interceptions during the regular season, while passing for 1,972 yards. He also ran for 144 yards and two more scores.
Generett, a senior wide receiver, caught 44 passes for 909 yards and scored 11 touchdowns. He also had five sacks and two interceptions, along with more than 60 tackles from his outside linebacker position.
Harrison piled up 1,510 yards on the ground and scored 27 total touchdowns in the regular season. The senior had a monster game Friday night in a 40-21 win against William Penn. He ran for 253 yards on 27 carries in the Panthers' win and scored four times.
Meanwhile, Panthers head coach Brad Livingston took home Division I Coach of the Year honors.
In YAIAA Division II, West York touchdown machine Brandon Real ran away with the Player of the Year award and his coach, Ron Miller, was awarded the Coach of the Year.
Real ran for 1,801 yards on 181 attempts on the season and
YAIAA Division III accolades were not immediately available Sunday.
