Brian Brown tossed another gem, throwing a no-hitter to lead the Coatesville High School baseball team to a hard-fought 1-0 victory over visiting Oxford on Wednesday night in a Ches-Mont League contest.

Brown, who will play for North Carolina State next year, struck out 11 and allowed only two walks in seven innings of work. It was his second no-hitter of the season, as he also did it in the team's season opener.

Coatesville (5-4 league) got its lone run of the game in the bottom of the third inning on an RBI fielders choice by Brady Carras, who also doubled in the contest.

That was all the run-support Brown would need.

Oxford (3-7) got a great pitching effort of its own from Joey Boggs, who suffered a tough loss on the mound despite pitching a terrific game, as he allowed just three hits and no walks in six innings of work.
