The Coatesville boys track team finished first in the Bruce Dallas Invitational at Cumberland Valley on Saturday.

Austin Shank won the 200 meters (22.71), Darrik Muroski won the discus (157-3), and Tra-c Davis won the high jump (6-4) to lead the Red Raiders.

Placing second were Mike Burton in the 110 hurdles (15.46) and 300 hurdles (41.08), Jevone Norman in the shot put (49-3), and the 4x100 team of Jalen Hudson, Austin Shank, Dorian Pennington and Jordan Jackson (44.07).

Garrett Muroski was third in the discus (144-6) and shot (46-6).

Coatesville also won the combined boys and girls competition with 106.25 points.Haverford High Invitational: J'Von Jennings led Downingtown East as he set a meet record in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.53. He also won the 300-meter hurdles (39.21).

The distance medley relay team of Alex Oschner, Jacob Dewey, Pierson Gill, and Dylan Jackson also finished first in 11:46.96.

Tommy Fitzgerald was second in the 800 (2:03.47), and Mario Bowler was third in the triple jump (42-0 1/2).

Placing fourth were Adam Carcella in the 800 (2:04.91), along with the 4x800 relay team of Keelan O'Reilly, Matt Weck, Brendan Dowling, and Evan Dewey (8:35.79).

Justin Platt was fifth in the pole vault (11-6), and the 4x400 team of Fitzgerald, Jeff Hardy, John George Armstrong, and Tim Hogan was fifth (3:37.35).GIRLS TRACKHaverford High Invitational: Downingtown East's Kennedi VanEyken set a meet record as she won the triple jump with a leap of 36-6 1/2.

Kelly Roche took first place in the pole vault (8-6) for the Cougars' other win.

Placing third were Evelyn Berecz in the triple jump (34-4 1/2), and the distance medley relay team of Caleigh McKay, Danny Carey, Audrey Fatone and Rachel Wolfgang (13:31.40).

Leah Taggiano was fourth in the pole vault (7-6), while the 4x800 relay team of Mayia Kerivan, Monica Mohler, Amanda Koser, and Anja Weiler finished fourth (10:14.91).

Rachel Grady was fifth in the discus (84-7).Bruce Dallas Invitational: Coatesville's 4x100-meter relay team placed second with a time of 51.97. Janyia Warner, Naya Wright, Deja Rainey, and Valarie Jones made up the foursome.

Jolisha Boulward placed third in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.01.

BASEBALL

Bishop Shanahan 7, W.C. Henderson 6: Gavin Roselli knocked in the game-winning run with an RBI triple in the bottom of the fifth inning as the Eagles (3-2) overcame a 6-1 deficit on their way to the Ches-Mont League National Division victory.

Corey Kern had a big game for Shanahan, going 2-for-3 with four RBIs.

Henderson (3-3) was led by Tyler McCabe, who finished 2-for-4 with two runs scored.
