Culver Hughes tossed a complete game as West Chester East edged host West Chester Henderson, 4-3, in a Ches-Mont League National Division baseball game on Friday.
East (2-3, 3-3) fell behind 3-1 early in the game as Henderson's Scott Lorback hit a two-run homer in the first.
But Hughes settled down, and East scored three runs in the sixth to take the lead.
Alex Corialos started the rally with a bunt single, and Nick Corialos hit an RBI double.
Connor Ruhl and Kyle Block eventually plated the final two runs on ground outs.
Block and Hughes both finished 2-for-3.
Hughes yielded nine hits, struck out nine and did not issue a walk.
Dave Reitman gave up six hits and struck out six in his six innings of work for Henderson (3-2, 3-2). Brad Patton pitched a hitless seventh.
Vinny Feola went 3-for-4 with a double.

Gittis went the first five innings, scattered two hits and struck out nine. Greenleaf gave up a hit in the sixth.
Kyle Ajjan had the hot bat for the Cougars. He went 3-for-5 with two doubles and two RBIs.
Nick Amicon added two hits and two RBIs.

Pannell struck out four and walked two. He got solid defensive support from center fielder Chris Tucker, who also went 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored.
Dave Villafane was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored. Joe Zirolli finished off the scoring with a three-run homer in the sixth.
Oxford fell to 1-5 in the league.

Unionville 3, W.C. Rustin 1: Eric Takoushian stroked a tie-breaking, two-run double in the sixth inning to give the Indians (4-2, 4-3) the Ches-Mont victory.
Chris Taylor tied the score earlier in the inning with an RBI single. Andrew Jones went all the way, surrendering one run and six hits.
Jimmy Brennan had a two-out solo home run in the first for the Golden Knights (1-3).

The Indians (4-2 league) trailed 3-2 heading into the seventh. Winning pitcher Austin Langherhans broke the game open with a three-run single.
In the bottom of the seventh, a single by Anna Steinmetz started a two-run rally by Rustin (2-3, 2-3). However, the Golden Knights left runners stranded at second and third.
Steinmetz and Rachel Fricker finished with two hits apiece, and Elaina DiPrimio had a three-run double in the second.
