The Great Valley boys tennis team opened its season with a 6-1 nonleague win over host Haverford High on Tuesday.

It was the first time the Patriots were able to get outdoors because of snow-covered courts at Great Valley.

Miguel Munoz and Peter Slaats turned in a solid 6-1, 6-0 victory at first doubles to lead the Patriots.
