The Conestoga High School boys' swimming team, which captured the Central League regular-season title, continued its league dominance at the Central League Swimming Championships meet Feb. 15, taking first place in six of the 13 events. Conestoga had 17 boys representing the school, more than half the team making qualifying time cuts.

Stoga's A relay team of Michael Ashmead, Raju Kolluru, Brian McKenrick, and Alex Schon won the 200 yard medley relay to open the meet, and the 400 yard freestyle relay to close it. In the medley relay, Conestoga just touched out the very strong Radnor relay by 0.16 seconds, proving to be one the most exciting races of the day.

Conestoga's B 200 medley relay of Kevin Jay, Alan Shen, Chase Ciotti, and Bohan Song and the B 400 freestyle relay team of Song, Wang, Shen, and Jay also won spots on the award podium, both placing seventh. Another seventh place relay spot was captured by Conestoga's A 200 yard freestyle relay squad of Sawyer Haymen, Song, Ciotti, and Chris Wang, with the B team of Lucas Fanucci, Louis Conroy, Patrick Hopkins, and Kay Zhang placing 15th.

Dual individual titles were earned by the only quad winners of the meet, Michael Ashmead in the both 50 yard freestyle and the 100 yard freestyle, and Alex Schon in both the 200 yard individual medley and the 100 yard butterfly.Through snow delays and cancellations, the Conestoga boys won their final three meets, against Ridley, Garnet Valley, and Penncrest to become Central League regular-season champions.
