Pennsbury 67, Oxford 50: Oxford stayed within striking distance for the first three quarters, but fifth-seeded Pennsbury pulled away for the District 1 Class AAAA second-round playoff win.

Oxford, seeded 12th, can still qualify for the state playoffs with two wins in the consolation playbacks.

The Hornets (19-7) will host 20th-seeded Harriton on Friday. A win would pit them against either Penn Wood or Methacton for a state berth.

Musty Mahmud scored 19 points, Ryan Hubley 15, and Jordan Logan 10 to lead Oxford.

Pennsbury took advantage of its quickness and went on an 18-11 run in the fourth quarter when Oxford was forced into playing man-to-man defense.
