Will Cole scored 17 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as the Lincoln University men's basketball team topped host University of the Sciences, 61-55, on Tuesday.
The Lions (2-1) turned in a clutch performance at the foul line as they shot 20-for-23 and made several foul shots in the final minute.
Cole was 7-for-7 from the line, Stefan Whittingham (10 points) 4-for-5, and George Jackson 4-for-5.
Derrick Washington finished with 11 points, and was pivotal in helping the Lions maintain their lead down the stretch.

Cynthia Johnson led the Lions with 14 points, Zephrah Pam added 12 points with a team-high nine rebounds, and Courtney Smith had 10 points.
