James Buchanan split a pair of meets with Martinsburg (W.Va.) ... In the boys meet, the Rockets pulled out a 111-55 victory ... James Reeder won the 50 freestyle (23.95), the 100 freestyle (52.65) and contributed to wins in the 200 medley and 200 freestyle relays ... "Our kids swam pretty well tonight," JB coach Kathy Hall said. "Reeder had an outstanding night. All four of his swims were best times." ... Clay Heebner (2:19.46) won the 200 IM and 100 butterfly (59.35) in addition to helping the 2 relay victories for the Rockets (4-7) ... In the girls meet, Martinsburg pulled out a 90-80 victory ... Heather Sempowski and Keegan Reed both shined for the Rockets (1-10) ... Sempowski won the 200 free (2:21.07) and 500 free (6:21.78) while Reed captured the 200 IM (2:24.83) and 100 breaststroke (1:15.91) ... Both contributed to a winning relay team ... "Sempowski had a great meet," Hall said. "Kayelynn Ricker swam the 200 free for the first time and did a great job. Reed had an awesome night. The team did really well -- the girls just fell a little short."
