DIVISION I PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Pat Conroy, Dallastown, Sr., middie: The four-time all-star capped an excellent career by leading the Wildcats to the Division I crown, the league title and the first district win in program history. Conroy scored 42 goals, assisted on 25 others and collected 119 ground balls, good for the team high. The second-year team captain was selected as co-player of the year for District 3 lacrosse. Conroy will continue his career at Towson University.
DIVISION II PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Klayton Garman, West York, Sr., attacker: A two time all-star, Garman finished his senior campaign in style by scoring 60 goals, assisting on 33 others and scooping up 81 ground balls. West York head coach Dan Quickel said of his team's captain who helped the Bulldogs claim their first Division II title: "Klayton is one of those type of players that you absolutely must account for at all times. The kid is amazing." The honors student will continue his lacrosse career while studying pre-med biology at Lebanon Valley College.

Kris Reinhold, York Suburban, Sr., attacker: The senior led the Trojans in goals (69) and assists (38). Reinhold was able to tally at least one goal and one assist in every game this season. He also finished with 67 ground balls.
Carnie Fryfogle, South Western, Sr., middie: The three-time all-star led the Mustangs in goals (44) and assisted on 33 others. He leaves as the program's leader in goals (125), assists (83), and ground balls (292).
Anthony Bettencourt, York Suburban, So., middie: The Trojans relied on the sophomore to win face-offs and he did just that, winning 68 percent of them during the season. Bettencourt won 168 face-offs and scooped up 166 ground balls. He finished with 29 goals and 27 assists.
Mitch Fuhrman, South Western, Jr., defender: Fuhrman led the Mustangs in ground balls the last two seasons. After picking up 84 during the 2011 season, the junior finished with 115 for the eight-win Mustangs.
Steven Wilson, West York, Jr., defender: Bulldogs coach Dan Quickel said the junior played, "nasty, physical, aggressive defense." Quickel continued, "When we scout teams, we choose our opponent's best offensive player and stick Steven on him." Wilson finished with 58 ground balls and an assist.
Nick Martin, York Catholic, Sr., defender: Martin was a third-team all-star in 2010, a second-team all-star in 2011 and made the all-star list again this season. Martin had an assist in a win against New Oxford.
Trevor Zero, Dallastown, Sr., goalkeeper: Zero stopped 201 shots for the season and finished with a save percentage of 65. He saved 12 shots in the Wildcats' win over West York for the league title. Zero also scored once from his goalie post vs. Kennard-Dale.
Forrest Cherry, West York, Sr., short-stick defender: A former soccer player whose hard work paid off, "He turned out to be an invaluable asset to our team's transition game. He was an emotional catalyst who played his heart out every second on the field," coach Dan Quickel said. Cherry finished with 79 ground balls, six assists and a goal.
Austin Groff, West York, So., long-stick defender: Coach Dan Quickel said of Groff, who registered 104 ground balls, four goals and an assist, "His athleticism, work ethic and attitude will make him one of the defensive players to watch in York County over the next few years."
KJ Gauntt, Red Lion, Sr., middie/defender: Gauntt won 69 percent of the Lions' face-offs this season. He also scored the game-winning goal in Red Lion's overtime victory vs. South Western on April 25. The senior helped the Lions to eight wins, including a two-goal, one-assist effort in a double overtime win vs. West York.
DIVISION I COACH OF THE YEAR
Chris Andrews, Dallastown: In a historic season for the Wildcats, Andrews guided his team to a 20-2 overall record, which included an undefeated showing in league play, a Division I championship, a league title and the team's first district win, a 14-6 victory over Elizabethtown. Andrews said, "This team had a great deal of chemistry and senior leadership. Our young players learned a great deal and now they have an expectation of carrying on this tradition from year to year."
DIVISION II COACH OF THE YEAR
Tom Nelson, Kennard-Dale: In their second season, the Rams saw quite the upswing. From one win in 2011 to 10 this season, the Rams finished third in Division II with a 6-4 mark. The Rams tabbed wins against Division I's South Western, Spring Grove and Red Lion.
