Sawyer Bisker led the way for the Kennard-Dale boys at the Ben Bloser Bulldog Invitational on Saturday at Big Spring High School.

Bisker finished fourth out of 117 competitors in the Class AA boys' meet, finishing the 3.1-mile course in 17:47. Jake Wescott finished 22nd in 18:48, and B.J. Folk was 26th in 18:59 to earn medals in the events. The Rams placed fourth in the 18-team competition.

Kayla White led the Rams in the Class AA girls' meet with a time of 20:45, finishing fifth out of 104 runners. Caitlin Salomon took 10th place in 21:30. Haley Cole and Sam Levan also medaled for the girls, who took second in the 14-team girls' meet.

   --- Hertzog places third at Briarwood Invitational Run: In Philadelphia, South Western's Ryan Hertzog took third place in the Division I boys' 5,000-meter run with a time of 16 minutes, 34.3 seconds.

South Western finished eighth among 25 teams in the Division I boys' race.

In the girls' competition, South Western placed last among 17 teams. The leading Mustang finisher was Lynne Mooradian, who placed 39th in 22:05.8.
