South Western built a big enough first-half lead and matched Waynesboro's offensive output in the second half to win, 49-32, in boys' basketball action Wednesday.

Mustang freshman Mike Duffy led all scorers with 22 points. Twelve of Duffy's points came from beyond the 3-point line.

Waynesboro converted only two of 10 free throws.

Matt Romoser knocked down five of the Rams' 10 3-pointers and finished with 21 points. Trott had three 3-pointers among his 15 points, and Kyle Humphries hit two 3s to finish with 10. The team also connected on 14 of 17 free throws, with Hornbarger and Humphries going 4-for-4.

Paul Seitz scored 15 points, and Andrew Walters had 11 for Susquehannock.
