With a 2-0 loss to Pequea Valley in the quarterfinal round of the District 3-AA softball tournament, the Kutztown Cougars ended their season with an overall mark of 14-7.

Pequea Valley scored run in the first, and one more in the sixth, for the only runs they would need. Kutztown had its chances to score, but could not get the key hit.

Meghan Donat had two hits in the game for Kutztown, while Jenna Grim had one.

Despite the loss, it was still a successful season for the Lady Cougars. They finished second in Division 3 with a league record of 8-2. They were two games behind first place, and undefeated, Brandywine Heights.

After defeating Muhlenberg, 14-2 in the quarterfinals, Kutztown lost to Daniel Boone in the semifinals, 3-2.
