The Exeter Township High School girls' lacrosse team went into the Berks League playoffs after winning the regular season with a perfect 12-0 record. After dispatching with Berks Catholic in the semifinals, Exeter went up against Wilson in the championship game in Birdsboro on May 8. This time it didn't go Exeter's way as the Bulldogs defeated Exeter, 13-12.

Exeter held at 12-10 lead with less than nine minutes left in the game. But Wilson scored three goals over the next five minutes to take the lead - it was a lead they never gave up.

Hailey Leister led the Exeter offense with four goals in the game. Abbie Halferty netted three goals, while Lexi Gundersen had two goals and one assist. Also scoring a goal were Mackenzie Anton, Lexi Einsig and Maryn Hubiak. Leah Franklin made 11 saves in goal.

In the semifinal victory over Berks Catholic, Exeter had to mount a comeback in order to come away with a 9-8 win.

Berks Cathlic held a 7-3 halftime lead, but Exeter put it all together in the second half, outscoring the Saints, 6-1.

Halferty had three of Exeter's nine goals, while Leister had two goals and one assist. Lizzie Tottser also added a pair of goals. Anton and Elise Dickie each had one goal, while Jordan Kotas was credited with two assists, and Hubiak contributed with one assist.
