The Fleetwood High School boys' tennis team improved to 4-1 in the Berks League and 9-4 overall after winning a pair of matches last week.

On April 10, Fleetwood defeated Muhlenberg, 4-3. Winning in singles competition for Fleetwood were: Tom Paganelli, 6-1, 6-2; Christian Melendez, 6-2, 6-0; and Eric Wily, 6-1, 6-2.

Also winning for Fleetwood was the doubles team of Paganelli and Melendez, 6-1, 6-3.

On April 14, Fleetwood defeated Berks Catholic.

Winning in singles competition for Fleetwood were: Melendez, 6-0, 6-3; Thayjas Patil, 6-1, 6-2; and Matt Masenheimer, 6-0, 6-1.

The doubles team of Melendez and Wily won their match, 6-1, 6-0.
