The Oley Valley High School softball team got the new season off on the right foot with three wins in three games.

On March 21, the Lady Lynx opened with an 8-3 victory over Conrad Weiser. The visiting Scouts, Emma Price hit a two-run homer to give Weiser a 2-1 lead, but Oley Valley took over from that point.

Heather Rissell led the Oley Valley offense with a single, home run and two RBIs. Kennidy Kubitz also had a pair of hits for Oley.

On March 22, the Lady Lynx traveled to Reading and came home with a 15-9 non-league victory. Sydney Majowicz had a single and a home run for the winners.

The Lady Lynx opened the Berks League portion of their season on March 27 with a 19-1 victory over Wyomissing.

Brooke Yerger was the winning pitcher as she got four runs of support from her team in the first inning.
