The Boyertown Area High School boys' swimming team split a pair of matches last week. The Bears are 4-1 in league action and 5-2 overall.
On Jan. 31, the Bears were defeated by Souderton, 102-68.
Steve Miller led the way for Boyertown with victories in the 200 free (1:50.01) and the 100 back (55.41). Jeremy Glasner was first in the 500 free (5:10.82).
Also winning for the Bears was the 200 medley relay team of Miller, Nick Savino, Nick Vivien and Patrick Lantz (1:43.27).
In PAC-10 action on Feb. 6, the Bears defeated Pottsgrove, 84-67.
Miller led the way once again for Boyertown with victories in the 200 individual medley (2:03.00) and the 100 fly (56.20).
Also winning for the Bears were: Patrick Lance, 200 free (1:53.29); Jeremy Glasner, 50 free (24.06); and Andros Grose (100 free (55.63).
Also winning for Boyertown was the 200 medley relay team of Glasner, Savino, Lance and Grose (1:46.79); and the 200 free relay team of Rhett Watts, Glasner, Grose and Owen Fanok (1:40.57).
