The Schuylkill Valley High School girls' soccer team closed out its season on Oct. 24 after a 3-0 loss to Northern York in the quarterfinals.
The Lady Panthers completed their season with an overall record of 13-7-1.
Northern York scored all three of its goals in the first half to take control of the game quickly. Hannah Mabus scored a pair of goals and had one assist for Northern York. while Abby Searfoss had a goal and one assist.
Northern York outshot the locals, 9-2, as Caitlyn Gannon made six saves in goal for the Panthers.
In the first round contest on Oct. 21, Schuylkill Valley, earned a 1-0 victory over Lancaster Mennonite.
Sophie Goad scored the lone goal of the game, with just 5:22 remaining in the first half. She was assisted by Megan Murphy. The Panther defense allowed the lead to hold up and secure the victory.
Schuylkill Valley outshot Lancaster Mennonite, 9-6, as Gannon made all six saves in goal for the locals to record the shutout.
