The 16-team Class AAA bracket begins Tuesday with YAIAA Division I's top two teams facing road trips. The Class AA bracket will begin Wednesday with one Hanover area school, Bermudian Springs, hosting the first two rounds.
Tuesday's action will send sixth-seeded Spring Grove (17-3) to Mechanicsburg, the third seed which has an 11-0 mark. Spring Grove will oppose 11th-seeded ELCO (17-3) in a 5 p.m. opening-round matchup. The winner faces either Mechanicsburg or 14th-seeded Manheim Central (10-6) in the 7 p.m. round.
Meanwhile, South Western (10-4) faces the daunting task of facing second-seeded Big Spring (13-2) in its own gym at 5 p.m. Tuesday to begin its tournament bid. If the Mustangs get past the Bulldogs, they will face either Cedar Cliff (16-6) or Cumberland Valley (9-5) in the next round at Big Spring.
The Class AAA semifinals will be held Thursday at the highest remaining seeds. The third-place and final matches will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Spartan Center at Milton Hershey School.
In Class AA, Bermudian Springs (23-1) hosts seventh-seeded Milton Hershey (16-6) in the opening round at 5 p.m. Wednesday. If the Eagles win, they oppose either Upper Dauphin (16-1) or Wyomissing (13-7) in the next round at 7 p.m.
Biglerville (19-6) has a tough draw despite its fourth-seeded status. The Canners must face Schuylkill Valley (15-2) in the opening round. Bracket host and top seed Boiling Springs (18-0), which beat Biglerville earlier this season, will await the Canners if the Bubblers beat Newport (15-7) in the 5 p.m. match.
The Class AA tournament concludes on Saturday with the third-place and championship matches at 11 a.m. at Milton Hershey's Spartan Center.
