In the District 3 Class A girls' volleyball games played Thursday at Central York, Fairfield placed third in the four-team Pool B and missed qualifying for Saturday's semifinal round.

The Green Knights defeated Antietam, 25-23, 25-15, 25-19, but lost 25-18, 19-25, 25-22 to Steelton-Highspire and 26-24, 25-20, 27-25 to Conestoga Christian, which won the pool.

Steelton-Highspire was the pool's other qualifier.
