Susquehannock beat Dover, 25-18, in the championship game, after fighting through eight other matches during the 20-team Rally in the Valley Tournament at Cumberland Valley on Saturday.

Susquehannock was led by Sherelle Walker's 11 kills in the championship victory over the Eagles. Walker also had a block, while Kacey Fraz added 10 assists, a kill, a block and a dig. Beth Garrison led the Warriors in digs with eight.

In afternoon pool play, Susquehannock split two games against South Western and swept both Altoona and Freedom, 2-0. The Warriors also beat West Perry, 2-0, in morning pool play and split matches against Exeter and Manheim Township.

Susquehannock managed a 25-17 victory against Exeter in the semifinals after earning a bye in the quarterfinal round.

South Western also had a solid outing at CV. The Mustangs advanced to the quarterfinals before losing, 25-18, to Exeter Township to finish fifth.

The Mustangs went 3-3 in the morning pool by splitting with Whitehall, 25-27, 25-19, beating Gettysburg, 25-14, 25-16, and losing to Cumberland Valley, 25-20, 25-12.

In the gold bracket, the Mustangs beat Bethlehem Freedom 25-23, 25-15, and Altoona 25-18, 25-23, before splitting with Susquehannock.
