Eastern York's dominance in running and defense led it to a 49-20 victory over the visiting Biglerville Canners on Monday night.
At the start of the game, Eastern came out strong with a touchdown early on.
As the first quarter progressed, the Canners took advantage of Golden Knight turnovers with rushing touchdowns by sophomores Mike Lee and Dayne Showers.
For the rest of the game, both teams would focus mainly on their running games.
For the next two quarters, Eastern kept the offense going. Junior running back David Livelsberger from Eastern York High School rushed for more than 200 yards and have four touchdowns in the game.
The Canners, meanwhile, got a long touchdown run from Joe Hurda in the second quarter.
The Canners, however, were shut out in the second half by Eastern's defense.
