Two of the YAIAA's eight qualifiers for the PIAA basketball tournament won't have to travel far for their first-round games.

The York Catholic girls and Eastern York boys will head to Dallastown High School on Friday -- an added bonus after winning a District 3 gold medal.

Here's a look at each team's first-round contest:

William Penn boys: The Bearcats (23-6) will open the Class AAAA tournament against Bayard Rustin (23-4), the No. 3 seed out of District 1, at 7 p.m. Saturday at Coatesville Area High School.

Eastern York boys: The Golden Knights (28-0), the top seed from District 3 in the Class AAA bracket, will face Coughlin (19-8) at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Dallastown High School. Eastern is the only undefeated team in AAA.

York Suburban boys: The 22-5 Trojans will hit the road to take on Greater Johnstown (21-3) at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Richland High School in the Class AAA tournament.

Hanover boys: The Nighthawks (18-6), who knocked off Delone on Friday to qualify for the Class AA state tourney, get the top seed from District 12, Imhotep Charter (22-5), at 5 p.m. Saturday at South Philadelphia High School.

Red Lion girls: The 24-4 YAIAA champions will open the Class AAAA tournament against Hazleton Area (20-6) at 7 p.m. Friday at Weatherly Area Middle School.

West York girls: The Bulldogs (27-2) start off the Class AAA tournament against Mt. Saint Joseph Academy (23-4) at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at East Pennsboro High School.

York Catholic girls: Fresh off its fifth straight Class AA district title, the Fighting Irish (24-3) will meet familiar foe Bodine (14-6) at 6 p.m. Friday at Dallastown High School.

Delone Catholic girls: The Squirettes (20-5) meet Friere Charter (21-5) in the Class AA tournament at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Germantown High School.
